PP503 – Round Chair

The PP503 Round Chair, designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1949, is a refined variation of the iconic PP501 Round Chair. Often referred to endearingly as “The Chair,” it gained international recognition for its elegant simplicity and exceptional craftsmanship. Handcrafted in Denmark from 200 year old sustainably sourced shelter trees, the Round Chair features a sculpted frame with a seamless, organic flow. The armrest for the Round Chair consists of three pieces each carved out of 5 inch thick solid wood. Unlike the PP501, the PP503 is upholstered, offering enhanced comfort while maintaining the chair’s graceful silhouette. Timeless and versatile, the PP503 Round Chair remains a symbol of refined Scandinavian design and enduring quality.
