A classic Danish chair design, the CH23 dining chair, designed by Hans J. Wegner, incorporates many fine, sophisticated details. Although the chair may appear uncomplicated at first, this chair includes elegant cruciform cover caps in the backrest, a double-woven seat and arched rear legs that ensure optimal stability.
With a unique twist, this chair is the only Hans Wegner design available in a mixed version with the frame in oak and backrest in walnut.
Often referred to as the master of the chair, Hans J. Wegner designed the CH23 dining chair in 1950 during the ‘Golden Age’ of modern Danish design.
